This is a nice free form pool fit into a tight space. Just out of view here is the house on the right. This pool is actually in the side yard, not the back due to easement restrictions. The schist rock waterfall is large with a cave big enough for two. In the top of the waterfall is a lagoon with two benches. From the lagoon the water spills in all directions. The water flows down the slide, across the opening of the cave, and to the right between the main waterfall and the spa. The spa has its own schist rock waterfall and the spa then in turn spills into the pool creating one continuous fall of water across the whole end of the pool. On the left of the image is a weeping wall made from more schist rock. There are four spills making it appear that water flows from the entire wall. Above the weeping wall are two water features that spit water from the mouths of pottery fish. In the foreground is a sloping sun shelf that is finished with flagstone. All the steps and benches in the pool, spa, and lagoon are finished with flagstone. The decking around the pool is finished with flagstone and there is a sizeable patio behind the house also finished with flagstone. |
